How to Register for Homeschooling in Alberta

First, visit the link below for a list of Homeschool boards in Alberta and choose one that you would like to work with throughout the upcoming year:

Second, contact the Associate School Board of your choosing (from the link above) and ensure that they register your child(ren) in the Home Education program before September 30 to receive full funding of $850.00 from the Alberta government to help cover the costs of books, supplies, field trips, etc.



Third, you are in charge of your child(ren)'s education and get to make a educational plan for what you would like to teach them. There are many different methods of teaching and different curriculum books that you can follow, in other words, you get to go shopping! Yay!!
